PM Youth Skills Development Program - NAVTTC

Skills Development Programs (SDP) of Hazza Institute of Technology focuses on developing skills & competencies of our students. We being a national-level capacity-building institute are always at the forefront of supporting public-private sectors to initiate the Skills Development Programs. The Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Program (PMYSDP) is one of the unique interventions that contribute to the economic empowerment of youth. Being the key partner of this program institute has successfully completed the training of approximate three hundred & forty-five (345) students including females who are now on their path toward prosperity.

In our first experience with National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program (PMYSDP) Batch-II, Phase – IV we were able to achieve top positions in national & provincial competitions conducted by NAVTTC.

Industry Academia Bridge Program – PSEB

Pakistan Software Export Board - Industry Academia Bridge Project 2022

The industry-Academia bridge program is a joint initiative of the Pakistan Software Export Board & Hazza Institute of Technology. The IAB program has started with the aim to bridge the gap between IT-Industry & academia, ultimately ensuring sustainable growth, development of the industry, and enhancing IT exports.

The objective of the program was to equip the currently enrolled students from top-tier universities in Pakistan, with the latest IT skills including MERN Stack, Web Engineering, Cloud solution architecture & SQA. For this purpose, students in the final semester from HEC-recognized universities were trained for the latest IT technologies to strengthen & promote liaison between the IT industry-academia of Pakistan.

SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

Benazir Income Support Program - BISP

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hazza Institute of Technology (HIT) to impart skill development training to BISP beneficiaries.

The MoU was signed by Director General Complementary Initiatives Sajid Baloch and CEO HIT Azhar Iqbal Sindhu and witnessed by Secretary BISP Omar Hamid Khan along with other Director Generals of the BISP.

As per the MoU, 200 BISP beneficiaries were trained in different skills including fabrication, welding, heavy machinery driver, electrician, steel fixers, and others. The institute not only trained these beneficiaries but will also ensure their job placement post-training.

SKILLS TRAINING - TEVTA

Hazza Institute of Technology signed an MoU with Azad Jammu & Kashmir Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (AJK-TEVTA) for forgoing mutual support to promote technical & vocational education & training. MoU constituted an implementation agreement for the development of the scheme ‘Paradigm Shift from Conventional to internationally approved CBT&A system”. 

RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning (GIZ)

RPL is a joint project of Hazza Institute of technology & NAVTTC to recognize the competencies, the individual has attained through life experiences, regardless of how, when, and where the learning has occurred. RPL is an alternative approach to provide career paths for individuals who did not get formal institutional training.

UNHCR Skill Development Program

UNHCR Pakistan in association with National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Government of Pakistan is enhancing its support to Afghan refugees and Pakistani host families in incomes development to make a safe and justifiable living through Skill Development Program.

Hazza Institute of Technology being an implementing partner has conducted six-months courses in various disciplines. Certificate in Information Technology CIT (Web Development, Graphic Designing & Mobile Development Program).
